HOW TO COME UP WITH A WINNING PROJECT IDEA?

October 14, 2019

How to come up with a winning Erasmus+ project idea? Are you sitting in front of your computer alone or with your team around a table and you just don't feel quite inspired? Are you feeling like you want to through every paper in the room and walk away?

Many people think that finding the perfect idea for a winning project is just simply impossible. However, it's not quite true! We have several means at our disposal which we can use in order to help ourselves and facilitate our team's work.

Don't worry! You will get to know them all.

Let's start from saying that our project idea should come out of an ISSUE that needs to get SOLVED. So, the very first thing that we need to do is to analyze the biggest issue that our school or organization or students are currently experiencing.

Which one is this issue? Why is there? What is this issue causing? and what actions could be used to solve it? I have 2 news for you 1 bad and 1 good. The bad one is that this process can take up to a few days and the good one is...

that there is a tool which will facilitate your analysis process: THE PROBLEM TREE!

This is an example of problem tree where at the center stands your big problem you would like to solve. On the bottom you need to write down all the CAUSES that are producing that big problem of yours. On top instead, you will need to mention all the EFFECTS that the problem is bringing along.

Well...maybe your are asking yourself. Why are you telling me this? How does this help me??? Wait! Let me explain! After this PROBLEM TREE...you will need to do a very simple operation ---> translate all the negative terms which you found yourself to be writing in the problem tree into positive terms! YOU WILL NOW HAVE PRODUCED THE OBJECTIVES TREE!

At this point, you need to decide which strategy to adapt for whatever of the means that you have now picked in the objectives analysis

DO YOU THINK THIS IS ALL I WANTED TO TELL YOU?

.

.

No, not at all. I use another method which is free, easy and super amazing: THE ERASMUS+ RESULTS PLATFORM where you can search for any type of project, using the keyword that best describes the project you intend to write.

Don't forget to select BEST PRACTICES so you can get the chance to see how one of the best projects - in your area of interest - needs to be written and managed!

Now, I would like to ask you: do you have your own method? If no, well...I hope our blog post was useful to you! If the answer is yes, please share it with us by simply commenting below
